Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignment is a process that adjusts your vehicle’s suspension geometry to ensure that all wheels are oriented correctly in relation to each other and to the road. Each manufacturer  has a set of factory specifications and we adhere to these for each vehicle. In practical terms, we ensure  that every tyre maintains optimal contact with the road. This also helps maximise your tyre investment by preventing uneven tyre wear.


If you're noticing any of these symptoms:

  • The vehicle is veering to the left or right when the steering wheel is pointing straight ahead;
  • The vehicle is tracking straight on the road but the steering wheel is off centre;
  • There is excessive tyre noise or
  • The tyres are wearing unevenly on the inside or outside edges

A wheel alignment involves meticulous measurements on an alignment machine. At Banksia Motor Works, we use a state of the art, laser alignment machine made by Hunter, internationally known for producing the best aligners in the world.

ADAS Calibration

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. These are auto safety features made up of a series of systems and sensors that help enhance driver safety.


When a vehicle is repaired or a wheel alignment is carried out, the ADAS system must undergo a precise recalibration to restore it  to its factory specifications. This ADAS calibration is crucial to ensure that all systems are performing as designed and maintaining optimal safety standards.


ADAS calibration (and recalibration) is the precise physical alignment, testing, and electronic aiming of sensors that collect data to inform your vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), like forward collision warning (FCW), lane departure warning (LDW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and several others.
